In partnership with the Calgary Sexual Health Centre, Camp fYrefly held its inaugural camp in the summer of 2013. In 2017, we will be hosting our Camp from July 6 to 9, at Girl Guides Camp Jubilee, Calgary.

There are many ways that you can become involved with Calgary Camp fYrefly as a volunteer, donor, or community supporter – if you are interested in more information about the Calgary Camp, please contact the coordinator at

Camp fYrefly-Calgary is greatly appreciative of the amazing support we have received from the Calgary community, including financial support from many individuals and organizations such as ATB Financial, Calgary Public Teachers' Local, UofC Coming Out Monologues, Chinook Fund, Hillhurst United Church, and Deer Park United Church.

All funds donated to Camp fYrefly-Calgary stay in Calgary and are used to support the local camp. All donations are eligible for a charitable donation receipt.

Camp fYrefly - Calgary 2013

The inaugural Camp fYrefly-Calgary took place this July 11-14, 2013 and was a hugely spectacular success! The camp featured  over 25 workshops, ranging from topics like queer history, knowing your rights, sexuality and spirituality, same-sex families, media studies, self-defence, latin dance, financial literacy, and many other interactive workshops.
