A Tour of Italy

From International Wine Cellars Inc., a dream package for the wine and travel enthusiast  - starting in the north in Verona, the setting for Shakespeare's Romeo & Juliet, you will stay two nights at Tommasi's Albergo Mazzanti, visit their winery and enjoy some Amarone. A leisurely five hour drive south will land you next in the southwestern Tuscan hillside region of Maremma, home of the famous and expensive Super Tuscan reds where you'll stay two nights at Poggio Al Tuffo. Ian Sheldon is a local award-winning artist internationally known for his diversity in both medium and subject. While studying Natural Sciences at Cambridge University, Sheldon began painting the historic architecture of the city. Darlene Clarke Hole studied at Emily Carr University of Art and Design where she earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts with a double major in Printmaking and Painting.  Clarke Hole has participated in BC and AB exhibitions and is known for her vivid coloured abstract seascapes and landscapes.  When Clarke Hole is not working in her “Heron Beach" Studio, she is enjoying all the spoils that her home city of West Vancouver has to offer.

This set comes with two signature Clarke Hole pieces including “Inland and Seaboard we will surely awake” (valued at $250) and “Torched Sky” (valued at $250).

Local artist, Loren Chabot has been painting all his life, mastering the techniques of drawing, pastels, watercolors, sculpture, and oils. Chabot has travelled worldwide with his art. 750 galleries in the U.S. have requested his work and he has had shows in New York, Atlanta, Kentucky, Calgary, Toronto, Ottawa and Windsor.  In June of 2010, Chabot passed away after a battle with cancer at the age of 56. This one-of-a-kind painting is one of the last works of Chabot’s incredible career. Sure to be an important collector’s item.
